Denver Clinches Playoff Spot Behind Nix’s Big Day

DENVER — With the postseason looming, the Denver Broncos delivered one of their most complete performances of the season, defeating the Green Bay Packers 34–26 at Empower Field at Mile High. The win not only extended Denver’s impressive late-season surge but officially clinched a playoff berth, further solidifying the Broncos as a legitimate AFC contender.

Quarterback Bo Nix continued his breakout season with a poised and efficient performance, throwing for over 302 yards and four touchdowns. Nix was in command from the opening drive, spreading the ball across the field and capitalizing on favorable matchups in the secondary. His decision-making and accuracy kept Green Bay’s defense off balance throughout the afternoon.

Wide receiver Courtland Sutton served as Nix’s primary target, hauling in key receptions and finishing with 113 yards and a touchdown, while Denver’s running game provided balance behind timely carries from RJ Harvey, who added a score on the ground. The Broncos built a double-digit lead in the second half and never fully relinquished control.

Green Bay showed flashes offensively, led by Jordan Love, who connected on multiple scoring drives and kept the Packers within reach. Josh Jacobs provided a spark with a long rushing touchdown, and the Packers briefly cut the deficit to one possession in the fourth quarter. However, turnovers and injuries proved costly, as Love threw two interceptions that halted potential comeback opportunities and Micah Parsons suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury.

413’s Bottomline

Denver’s defense made timely stops late, forcing Green Bay into difficult third-down situations and protecting the lead. With the victory, the Broncos improved to 12–2 being the best team in the NFL (by record).  While the Packers fell to 9–4–1, well-positioned for a postseason run but facing little margin for error down the stretch.

Stafford, Nacua Lead L.A. Past Detroit In Playoff Clinching Win

SOFI STADIUM — In a high-scoring NFC matchup, the Los Angeles Rams rallied to knock off the Detroit Lions, 41–34, in Week 15 action. Quarterback Matthew Stafford was outstanding, throwing for 368 yards and two touchdowns, and wide receiver Puka Nacua exploded for a career-high 181 receiving yards to power the Rams’ offense.

Los Angeles found itself in a back-and-forth battle from the outset. Both teams traded big plays, and the Lions jumped out to an early lead behind efficient quarterback play and skill-position production. Detroit’s offense stayed aggressive, keeping pressure on the Rams’ defense throughout the afternoon.

However, the Rams, who have been one of the NFC’s most consistent teams this season, responded with their trademark offensive balance. Running back Kyren Williams provided a steady ground game, finishing with 78 rushing yards and two scores, while Stafford’s connection with Nacua kept Detroit scrambling to adjust.

Despite the victory, Los Angeles did suffer a potential setback as Davante Adams exited the game late with a leg injury after contributing four catches for 71 yards. Although, Adams will more than likely be back in the postseason.

413’s Bottomline

The win improves the Rams to 11–3, clinching another playoff berth and reinforcing their standing as an NFC contender and possibly awaiting a Super Bowl match-up with the Broncos? Only time will tell. Detroit, still has work ahead and will need help to get into the postseason but showed plenty of fight in a shootout that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

SEATTLE — In a game defined by defense and special teams, the Seattle Seahawks edged the Indianapolis Colts 18–16 at Lumen Field, leaning heavily on kicker Jason Myers, who delivered one of the finest performances of his career.

Myers was flawless on the afternoon, converting all six of his field-goal attempts, including a 56-yard game-winner with just 18 seconds remaining. Seattle’s offense struggled to finish drives in the red zone, but Myers’ reliability ensured every possession counted.

The Seahawks moved the ball methodically throughout the game, controlling field position and time of possession, but repeatedly stalled inside Colts territory. Rather than forcing risky plays, Seattle leaned into its kicking game and defensive strength.

Indianapolis stayed competitive behind veteran quarterback Philip Rivers, who showed composure and command despite limited offensive explosiveness. Rivers orchestrated several scoring drives and briefly put the Colts ahead late with a long field goal, giving Indianapolis hope of pulling off a road upset.

413’s Bottomline

Seattle’s defense responded when it mattered most, forcing a turnover on the Colts’ final drive to preserve the victory. The Seahawks remain firmly in control of their postseason destiny, it’s just a matter of seeding, and whether they can still win the NFC West despite the Rams and 49ers shared dominance this season. Indianapolis fell to 8–6, still in the playoff hunt but facing mounting pressure in the season’s final weeks.

Philly Dominates in First Shutout Since 2018

PHILADELPHIA — After weeks of inconsistency, the Philadelphia Eagles delivered a much-needed statement, dismantling the Las Vegas Raiders 31–0 in their most complete performance of the season at Lincoln Financial Field.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was sharp and efficient, completing 12 of 15 passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Hurts played mistake-free football, making quick decisions and taking advantage of favorable matchups, particularly in the middle of the field.

Tight end Dallas Goedert emerged as the focal point of the passing attack, catching six passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns, while Saquon Barkley added balance with 78 rushing yards and a score. Philadelphia controlled the tempo throughout, sustaining long drives and keeping Las Vegas’ offense off the field.

The Eagles’ defense was equally dominant, pitching the franchise’s first shutout since 2018. Las Vegas was limited to just 75 total yards, struggled on third down, and never found any offensive rhythm. Constant pressure from Philadelphia’s front seven forced hurried throws and stalled drives.

413’s Bottomline

For the Raiders, the loss marked another difficult chapter in a challenging season, establishing themselves as one of the worst teams in the NFL. Philadelphia, meanwhile, improved to 9–5, reestablishing momentum as the NFC playoff picture continues to take shape.
