COLUMBIA — No. 3 Texas A&M remained unbeaten with a convincing 38–17 win on the road over No. 22 Missouri. With the victory, the Aggies improved to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in SEC play, while Missouri dropped to 6-3 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

The Aggies struck early and often. They took a 7–0 lead in the first quarter and stretched it to 14–0 by halftime. Missouri finally got on the board in the third quarter, cutting the lead to 21–7 after a rushing touchdown by Jamal Roberts. But Texas A&M responded with a 32-yard field goal to push the margin to 24–7.

In the fourth quarter, the Aggies sealed the win with a one-yard touchdown run by Rueben Owens II and pulled away 38–17. Missouri added a late 45-yard rushing score, but the gap was already too wide.

Standout Performers & Key Stats

• Quarterback Marcel Reed (Texas A&M) completed 20 of 29 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns, orchestrating a balanced attack.

• Running back Rueben Owens II rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns, including a long touchdown run that broke the game open.

• Wide receiver KC Concepcion led the receiving corps with 84 yards and a 48-yard touchdown catch, giving the Aggies a deep-threat edge.

• Missouri’s freshman quarterback, Matt Zollers, made his first start but struggled under pressure. The Tigers’ running backs had big rushing day numbers, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace.

• Texas A&M’s defense held Missouri to just 284 total yards of offense and one turnover on the day.

413’s Bottomline

This win was another statement for Texas A&M. They demonstrated they can dominate on the road in a hostile environment, relying on a complete performance across offense, defense, and special teams. The 9-0 start is the program’s best in decades and puts them firmly in the mix for the SEC title and national playoff conversation.

For Missouri, the result stings but also shows where the team must improve. Their running game showed life, but the passing attack and protection under a freshman QB need work. The Tigers have talent but must find consistency to contend.

Texas A&M: Host South Carolina next Saturday.

Missouri: Host Mississippi State next Saturday.
